I wanted to give you a quick update on the progress I’ve made with xshot.me! Things are really starting to come together, and I’m excited to share what’s already working and what’s coming up next.

Capturing Tweets with Multiple Images

I’ve got tweets with multiple images working smoothly. Whether it’s a single image or a tweet with a gallery, xshot.me can capture it all perfectly.

Movies + GIFs? Getting There!

I’ve added support for posts with movies and GIFs—though right now, they’re captured as static images. It’s still a work in progress, but I’ve got some cool ideas to make these more interactive down the line.

Custom Backgrounds

To add some flair, I’ve made it possible to capture screenshots with custom backgrounds. You can choose between gradients, dotted patterns, and more. Check them out:

What’s Coming Next?

I’m currently working on capturing quotes and polls. After that, my focus will be on the user interface and shipping the first version.
